Mr Bhangoo’s extensive experience in all areas of knee surgery is complemented by specialist knowledge in sports knee injuries and joint preservation procedures. He has expertise in procedures such as ACL reconstruction, Partial Knee Replacements and Total Knee Replacements attained through his specialised training.
Mr Bhangoo was granted a prestigious travelling fellowship to the USA where he spent time with Freddie Fu, the founding father of sports knee surgery and he has more recently visited Jean-Noel Argenson in France , an international authority on Partial Knee Replacements.
He has spent a year researching and understanding stem-cell technology at University College London and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore.
Whilst working with Robert Straw and Guido Geutjens, Mr Bhangoo has helped introduce newer techniques in to his field, including personalised computer aided osteotomy and is currently looking into ground-breaking techniques behind cartilage regeneration.
