Mr Jayaprakasan is a Royal College (RCOG) accredited specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. He completed his sub-specialty training at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he subsequently worked as IVF Consultant and Associate Professor in Reproductive Medicine and surgery for two years before he moved to take up the lead consultant role at Derby Fertility Unit.
Mr Jayaprakasan’s special interests include Fertility Treatment including Assisted Conception (IVF/ICSI), Reproductive surgeries (Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy), recurrent miscarriage, PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis and menopause. He is also experienced in the application of advanced pelvic ultrasound in the field of fertility, in which he undertook his PhD.
