Referrals for private patients
Our electronic referral system for referring private patients directly from your surgery. This system will allow you to refer patients with both private health insurance and those who are self-funding for private treatment with Derby Private Health.
The system uses the ICE software and there is a new tab called “Private Patients” (similar to that highlighted in the above screenshot) which leads to a simple referral form. Once completed, this will instantly submit the referral for any procedure which will then be processed by Private Health’s Admin Team and arrangements will be made for the patient. Derby Private Health is a private suite located at the Royal Derby Hospital. All the income generated from private patient episodes is returned to the hospital to support all our patients attending the Trust.
